What did you study in school?

I took the International Baccalareate program, where I studied higher English, History and Economics and lower Maths and Environmental Systems. I've also learned Religious studies and I've studied Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, French and Spanish.

Yeah, I moved from India to Singapore, so my choice of languages broadened.

I have a turtle named Ferrari, a dog called Ella and a fishtank. I would say my favourite is my dog, who pretends she's a cat.

LORD OF THE RINGS! Barring that one fairly universal answer, Finder by Emma Bull.

I've never heard of Emma Bull before. I will have to look her up.

She's fantastic and writes delightful urban fantasy.

Finder is based on a series of novels/short stories on a town called Bordertown, between the real world and the Elflands. Luckily, her writing style is such that you don't have to know the background, it just comes to you. It's rich and vibrant, with amazing characters.
