I don't have a fight in this since I never watched it. I do remember the school reverend using the movie to talk about how Superman is like Jesus though. :Db

True, but I mean even this latest Superman vs. Batman has him all as a FALSE GODDD and all. Oh well, this particular reverend was a bit special in that he kept trying to relate things to pop culture.

OH that part is actually interesting because in Man of Steel, Jor-El implied that Clark could be treated as a god because of his powers and a lot of Clark's development (his trust in people, his reservations about being someone who showcases his powers in public rather than helping people quietly without anyone knowing him etc). So Batman Vs Superman is probably a followup from Superman sort of coming out into the limelight and people knowing aliens like him exist and how normal people deal with those ramifications.
