Mostly because Gil-mun earlier topped me. And also Oz completely topped me in the early volumes of Pandora Hearts. He's kinda like... my totally messed up soul animal. That depresses me to say that.

ALL MY HEADCANON SOMEHOW MYSTERIOUSLY BECOMES CANON but uh the one I did at the early stages of PH was that Oz lived a secluded life and didn't go to school like his peers. TURNS OUT I WAS RIGHT!

Kirk always put on his best behaviour for his mom when she came back from her work trips. Despite that, he still wouldn't listen to his father and he knew it just made his mom despair, but he couldn't help if he disliked the man.
