I want a time to come where I can be in a crowd and not have an inevitable panic attack.

All I can offer is my own experience: I used to have paralyzing anxiety attacks (one time it was actually physically paralyzing) on a semi-regular basis, and, knock on wood, I don't anymore. How it is now does not dictate how it always will be.
