RP - some state of union stuff

Oz Vesalius
The entrance of Gil brought on a lot of feelings Oz hasn't dealt with since coming to Micro since.... he never had a reason to think much about it and he didn't want to really think about "what ifs". Oz being in a place that forces sexual activity? Sure, Oz can handle it. He pretty much separates the aspect of "sex" and "everything else" in different categories and they don't merge. That's one of Oz's talents and coping techniques; keeping it simple and separate. So sleeping with other people? Sure. It doesn't mean anything to him, it's a means to survival.
Then Gil came! ololol. Gil is Oz's most precious person, a link to his past and someone Oz needs to have around if only to remind him that hey, there's at least someone in the world who'll stay by his side. Except the Oz I took was from volume five, where he had doubts about that promise because even if Gil cannot remember Jack, he was clearly very much placed some kind of importance on Jack, an importance that Oz feared to a great degree because that would bring back the point that no one truly wants Oz.
But what also surprised ME as well as Oz was that other people also reached out for Oz when I sent Oz on his personal vacation. The Corinthian was disturbed and even Mukuro reacted in a harsh, almost possessive manner, which genuinely surprised Oz a lot and one of the key reasons why his attitude towards Mukuro now is a lot calmer and easy-going than it was when they first met. Now that Jack has returned to... his soul-place, Oz is now considering the fact that, hey, just maybe, people do like him for being who he is! So he's feeling a lot more at ease.
Now Gil being Gil, Oz likes to tease and bother him. Oz is... an oddly posessive person without actually... meaning to be. He likes teasing, he likes having that control over Gil and he'll use that control to protect Gil when necessary... but it doesn't really go beyond that! Cruel teasing, even manipulating Gil, yes, but Oz always goes back to double-check that this is what Gil wants because the last thing Oz will do is actively alienate Gil. He can't go that far. The Corinthian remains in Oz's number one... spot place where Oz will do anything for the Corinthian but knows that the Corinthian gets upset on his behalf, so he tries to be careful with himself. Mukuro.. well, after Oz slept with him, he's been feeling like he has a handle on the man and Mukuro isn't pushing his beliefs onto Oz anymore and that helps in terms of them getting along. And I need to thread with more people orz.

Gil is in a very interesting place right now, actually. Because he can't stand that Oz cares so much about other people, even if he can accept it in a way . . . HE DOESN'T REALLY. And Gil is probably more possessive than Oz, but in a completely different way. I just woke up so I can't really essay properly, but the whole sex thing is something that Gil is trying to cope with, and while he didn't hate it --I mean, it was with Oz--, he hated the fact that Oz had to do it for months and he wasn't there and GIL WON'T FORGET THIS EVER. Because then we have the Corinthian and Gil hates him. :( Only this is interesting because he acted less angry around him during their last thread, SO I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE. Also Gil feels guilty about asking too much of Oz, and lol, his issues. AM I MAKING SENSE.
But in general, god, Gil needs to thread more with more people too. OZ AND ESTELLE SHOULD THREAD AGAIN.
